Bobbie Sue Rhodes

Bobbie Sue Rhodes, 88, passed away early Wednesday morning in Jackson, TN after a long battle with lung disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jessie Lee Scally of Hickory Flat, MS, her husband of 43 years, Sid Rhodes, and her grandson, Steven Brent Zimmer of San Antonio, TX. Bobbie is survived by daughters, Debra Rhodes and Jan Zimmer; son-in-law, Dr. Bo Zimmer; and great-grandson, JJ Zimmer, all of Jackson, TN.

As Bobbie and Sid were both only children, they developed deep and loving relationships with numerous friends throughout their lifetime that spanned across three states. These friendships nourished her life and brought her great joy. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for all those that loved and cared for Bobbie Sue. We are confident that she is healthy and eternally happy with our Lord and Savior.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 30 at Huntsville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Augustine School (1171 Old Humboldt Road, Jackson, TN 38303) where her beloved great grandson attends, or Union University (1050 Union University Drive, Jackson, TN 38305).
