I am shocked to learn of Carolyn's passing away. I worked with her at McKinley Middle Magnet and Westdale Middle. I started my day seeing her beautiful smile. She was such a dedicated teacher......but most of all I will remember her lovely singing voice.....I am sure she is now singing for God.

I, too, worked with Carolyn at Westdale, though not for as much time as many others. However, in her simple and warm way, she made me feel very welcome and comfortable - like I was always part of the family. This is tragic news and a great loss.

To Carolyn's family and friends, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. I worked across the hall from her at Westdale Middle School and I enjoyed many lively and entertaining moments with her. She will be greatly missed by all of the Westdale Middle School Family. God bless you at this difficult time.

I, too, taught with Carolyn at Westdale Middle School in Baton Rouge. I will never forget those "looks" and that laugh. She could lift your spirit with a funny classroom story any day. I am so sorry about her passing away. She will certainly be missed.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of this dear lady from your lives. I've known Carolyn since she began teaching at McKinley Middle Magnet in Baton Rouge. We worked together again several years later at Glasgow Middle. She always had a kind word and a smile to offer.
