Carolyn was active in church as a Sunday School teacher and served on various committees. She loved planning the Christmas programs, Easter celebrations, dinners and church fundraisers for Deanburg Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. Carolyn was a stay at home mother and a fierce momma bear that loved her family with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed but certainly not forgotten.

Dear Aunt Carolyn,
I love you and most of my childhood memories are surrounded by you and Uncle Ronnie. I grew up and have traveled the world - living abroad for many years and finally coming home. My childhood memories are filled with love from the house on Bolivar, Hwy. Mama Mays, you and all the kids... I love you and Uncle Ronnie - I hope those boys are doing good too.

Carolyn always welcomed me with a big smile and open arms and made me feel like family. Best pecan pies in the world. Heart as big as all outdoors. I met Ronnie thirty plus years ago working at Jackson General. Always smiling, kind, and helpful. Little did I know that he would become my younger sisters father-in-law one day. Love Steve and Kevin like brothers and Sherry like a sister. And of course, my precious sister, Angel. Carolyn was a wonderful lady. Loved her and Ronnie very much. A blessing to have them in my life.
