Funeral Services for Christopher Baron Reid, age 25, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Rev. Victor Hodge and Rev. Marcie Henderick officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Chris passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011.
He was born in Madison County on December 31, 1985. Chris worked for Bob Parker Service Center where he changed tires and drove a tow truck for the wrecker service.
Chris is survived by his mother, Gladys Sipes and husband James of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Brandy Collins and husband Steven of Denmark, TN and Crystal Lowrance of Walnut, MS; two brothers, Brian Davis and wife Samatha of Jackson, TN and Allen Sipes of Walnut, MS; and a special friend, Wayne Doughty; his father, Dan Baron Reid; maternal grandmother, Sue Murry of Bolivar, TN and maternal grandfather, Jim Peters and wife Bonnie of Salt Lake City, UT.
He was preceded in death by maternal step grandfather, Charles Murry and paternal grandmother, Carol Reid.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the South Chapel.
