Mr. Dale Treadway, age 84 of Jackson, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday morning, May 31st, 2020.

Dale was born on December 3rd, 1935 to the late Charles and Elizabeth Treadway. Dale was an active member and Deacon of Woodland Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lu Treadway and sisters, Nell Treadway Carden and Betty Treadway Brown.

He is survived by daughter, Cheryl Treadway Berry of Antioch, TN; sons Chuck Treadway of Jackson, and Steve Treadway (Christy) of Jackson; six grandchildren, Chase (Amy), Elizabeth, Carter, Millie, Hays, and Annelise.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4th at 9:30 am – 11:00 am with funeral services immediately following at Woodland Baptist Church in Jackson with Rev. Stacy McCollum officiating. A committal service will be held at 1:30 pm at Somerville City Cemetery in Somerville, TN. Interment will follow the service.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Dale’s memory be directed to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.com

Mr Dale was a very kind man and neighbor. When our sons and friends were young, he let them play whiffle ball in the extra lot. It is a memory they mention often. Will miss talking to him and Bella.
