Deborah “Debby” Irene Boutwell, of Ridgeland, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born on January 30, 1950, at Humboldt Hospital to the late Floyd and Reba White of Jackson, Tennessee.
Debby was a devoted Christian woman whose faith was an important part of her life. She was a faithful member of Campbell Street Church of Christ and cherished the relationships she built with her church family, friends, and loved ones.
Above all, Debby treasured her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Boutwell, and her three treasures, Jennifer Webb (Chris), Josh Wood (Misty), and Jonathan Wood (Dominique). She is also survived by Cindy Smith and her children; Stephanie Wright and her children; her beloved grandsons, Cody Wood and Hunter Wood (Kaylee); James McCullar (A.C.) and their children, Riley Clay and Saylor; step-granddaughter Kaylah Webb and her children, Lily and Sophie.
During her final days, Debby was blessed by the love and care of her three special angels, Robin Wood, Nancy Acred, and Linda Stewart. Their kindness, presence, and love meant so much to Debby and her family.
Debby and Bill shared many wonderful memories together, including their love of Ole Miss football. They were avid Ole Miss fans and proudly cheered on the Rebels with a heartfelt, “Hotty Toddy!”
There are simply no words to express the love Debby had for her family and friends. She had a special way of making the people around her feel loved and cared for, and the memories she leaves behind will be treasured by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever loved.
