Dorris Lee Seeley

Mrs. Dorris L. Seeley, 89 formerly of Knoxville and Jackson passed away on October 30, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 3rd, at 3:00PM in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, Jackson TN.

Mrs. Seeley was born on September 12, 1926 in Crockett County, TN to the late Herman, and Odessa Donaldson Williams. She was a retired business tax Inspector, and was Baptist in faith.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank D. Seeley, Sr., two sons, William G. “Butch” Seeley, and Jonathan J. “Bubba” Lane, and a sister Jane Crowe.

She is survived by her son Michael Seeley (Jan) of Atlanta, GA., 2 daughters; Susie Seeley of Knoxville, TN, Jackie Patterson (Joe) of Woodbury, TN., a stepson Frank D. Seeley Jr. (Phyllis) of Jackson, and 7 grandchildren; Matt Wester, Bo Wester, Jason Seeley, Amy Reynolds, Allison Brauer, Kathryn Seeley, and David Seeley, and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at 1:00PM in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
