

She was born to Benjamin and Sally Norman Williams on October 17, 1936 in the Mt. Carmel Community in Decatur County, TN. She eloped to Corinth, MS with her childhood sweetheart, Robert “Bobby” Nathan Crawley, on May 7, 1955. They were married 67 years and in this union, had four daughters, ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Edna Faye was a homemaker and took pleasure in creating delicious meals for her family. She liked shopping and loved it when she found a great bargain. She also enjoyed splitting time between her home in Jackson and the family century farm in Decatur County. She looked forward to the holidays and decorating for all of the seasons. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir for years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Williams, and sister, Geraldine Higdon.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Crawley of Jackson; daughters Teresa Crawley of Jackson, Debby Long (Alan) of Jackson, Lisa Mayo of Pinson, and Robin Phillips (Kevin) of Jackson. Grandchildren are Kelly Clark of Walls, MS, Nathan Long (Holly) of Mt. Juliet, Ben Clark (Morgan) of Jackson, Parker Long (Leah) of Nashville, Andrew Long (Alexis) of Jackson, Brandon Mayo of Pinson, Evan Mayo of Pinson, Victoria Phillips of Portland, OR, Jackson Phillips of Memphis, and Alden Phillips of Jackson.
Edna is also survived by eight beautiful great grandchildren: Christian, Levi, Sarah Beth, Hannah, Sadie, Magnolia, Joanna, and Liza.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with her nephew, Buford Crawley, Jr., officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. All expressions of sympathy including flowers, cards, memorial donations are welcome. Memorial donations may be sent to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Jackson or the American Cancer Society.
Serving as pallbearers will be her eight grandsons.
