Edward Lee Wilson

Born in Jackson, Tennessee, on September 2, 1952, Eddie was the son of the late Leslie Edward Wilson and Betty Jo Mills Sigler. A lifelong West Tennessee resident, he was known for his devotion to family, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others whenever he could. He was a simple man who loved tinkering with small engines and listening to rock music.

Eddie deeply loved and cared for his family above all else. He never came across a dog he didn’t like and found comfort, happiness, and friendship in their companionship.

Eddie is survived by his daughters, Leslie Talamantes, Ruth Wilson, and Rebecca Matthews; his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and beloved pets.

Known to most simply as “Eddie,” he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A service to celebrate the life of Edward Wilson will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Burial will follow at Parkburg Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m.
