

She was born on January 9, 1929 in Louisville, MS, the daughter of the late Alfred B. Reynolds and Beatrice McCain Reynolds. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lambuth College. She was a loving wife and mother to her family and devoted herself to her home and family. She and her husband were active members of Fellowship Bible Church.
She held offices in many civic and charity organizations, including the Board of Trustees of the Jackson and Shiloh Regional Libraries, the Jackson-Madison Chapter NSDAR, Madison Co. American Cancer Society, and Jackson Mental Health Assn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Swanee Lawrence, Sr., who preceded her in death in September.
She is survived by a daughter, Brownie Clinton of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; her son, Swan Lawrence (Sandy) of Topeka, Kansas; six nieces and four nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later time when it is safe to do so. She will be buried next to her husband on the Lawrence family plot at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
