Funeral services for Eunice Phillips Higgins, age 86 of Jackson, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with burial to follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Higgins was born on May 20, 1924 in Bemis, TN to the late Frank and Ida Phillips, as the youngest of their eleven children.
She was a long standing member of Forest Heights Methodist Church where she was active until recently.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Higgins is preceded in death by her siblings and husband Bob Higgins.
She is survived by her son, Gary Higgins and his wife Sheila; two grandchildren, Chris and Alex Higgins all of Knoxville, TN and a loving extended family, mostly located in the Jackson area.
Visitation will be held at the North Chapel from 12:30 pm until the service beginning at 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
