Mrs. Frances Sweat, 76 of Jackson died on November 1, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday November 4, 2015at 2:00 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with burial to follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Dr. Don Thrasher will officiate the service.
Mrs. Sweat was born on March 27, 1939 in Haywood County to the late Henry and Esther Jones. Frances was a loving wife, and mother. She helped her husband run their family business Harold Sweat Body shop and was a member of Westover Baptist Church where she was very active teaching Sunday school.
Other than her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Harold Sweat who passed away in 1992.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Sherry Walker (Rickie), and Melissa Sweat all of Jackson. 1 Sister; Kay Elrod of Brownsville, and 4 grandchildren; Anna Walker, Nathan Walker, Kelsey Hall, and Bryce Hall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 3, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
