Grace R Davis

Mrs. Grace Davis, age 90 of Jackson passed away on July 25, 2015. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.She was born on March 31, 1925 in Laclede County, Missouri to the late William and Edith Connor Eilenstine. During WWII Mrs. Davis worked manufacturing aircraft carriers, and later worked in the shoe department in Kisbers for many years. She was a member of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Millard Davis.Mrs. Davis is survived by a daughter, Carol Bryant and husband William of Jackson and a son, Larry Davis and wife Helen of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren; Christopher Johns, Matthew Johns, Charles Davis, Stephanie Davis, and four great-grandchildren.Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday July 28, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. in the North Chapel of George A.
