I was very sad to read of Ms. Hazel's passing in this morning's paper. First I thought of letting Daddy and Mama know, but, they have passed. Then I thought of my aunt, Barbara Wagster Roberts, she too is gone. All of the girls in the pictures who I thought were so pretty, dressed for a night out at the movies, are no longer here. Such a special group of people.
Tom and Mildred Wagster, my parents, were very fond of Hazel. The depression was a hard time for people, but they seem to have bonded together in lasting friendships.
Please accept my sympathies.
