Sympathies and prayers for the family in your time of grief.

David,Jala and Bethany you have my deepest sympathy.  Helen will be greatly missed by you all and her friends.  Heaven gained a Special Angel. God will give you peace and comfort and time will help heal the pain some. Hold on to the Precious Memories.  You all are in  my prayers.

Helen, I will always remember your spunk! It was a  privilege to call you classmate, peer and most importantly friend.  I will always remember that contagious smile, and giving heart.  God speed my friend!

To Helen's family... Helen and I were very close in junior high and friends through high school.  I remember hours of laughing, talking, riding bikes, and just hanging out.  We were in band together too.  I send you my deepest sympathies because I know you shared many more good memories than me.  I kept up with her on facebook and her life seemed complete.  I am so sad for all of our loss but especially her family's.  Heaven gained a beautiful, caring, thoughtful, compassionate angel.  Rest in the loving arms of God sweet friend.

One year Helen and I had lockers near each other, so we would talk. We shared the same maiden name-Johnson. Your family is in my prayers.

I met Helen during her teaching the LPN students at DCGH, we also had a few classes together at UT Martin.  She was always friendly and smiling.  She will be missed by many.  Prayers for her family

I grew up with Helen in Westwood Gardens, went to school with her and spent many hours in band. I'm so sorry to hear this news. Helen will be missed, truly missed. I take peace in knowing that she is home.

Helen was such a great person.....I still remember her in band,she could play anything just by hearing it once,she had braces and wore braids.She was one of those people you meet once in a life time and you just cant forget her.I will keep your family in my prayers and I pray that God gives each of you the strength to cope with the days to come.I only had one picture this is our soft ball team 'The Owls'

I have been working with Helen through the LPN program at Parsons since it started. She was a special lady and a joy to be around. Her students were always singing her praises.

I had not seen Helen since our JCM days but I always remembered her fondly. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers and condolences to the Riggs and Johnson families.

I graduated from JCM with Helen in 1985.  She was always a fun loving  and happy person.  I was shocked and sadened to learn of her passing.  I know she will be greatly missed.

May God comfort all of your family thru this tragedy. Mrs Helen was such a wonderful person and she has touched many lives! My family reminded me that she came to Memphis and sat with us when I was 10yrs old after almost losing my life in a car accident. She was such a sweet caring woman an she has raised two amazing women! Love y'all and we are all praying for y'all!

Helen and I were in the JCM band together and the thing I remember most, besides her amazing snare drum talent, was that she was ALWAYS smiling that 1000-watt smile!
