Graveside services for Ima Nell Hart, age 86, will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2 p.m., at Cagle Cemetery in Chester County, TN. Interment will follow the services.Mrs. Hart passed away on Monday evening, November 17, 2014 at Van Ayer Manor Nursing Home in Martin, TN. Mrs. Hart was born on February 29, 1928 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of Ernest N. and Merle Garland Deaton.She was a medical transcriptionist for Drs. Johnson and Muir when the Jackson Clinic first opened. She was also a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.She is survived by three children, Philip N. Hart II (Carolyn), Michael A. Hart (Judy), and Marie Hart; three grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Scott and Doris Wiley; and two brothers, Bobbie Deaton and Bennie Deaton.Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Hart; two brothers, Hugh Deaton and Charlie Deaton.Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2014 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Jackson, TN.
