James Vernon Ramey, age 43 of Pinson, was born on May 8, 1968 in St. Louis, MO. He passed away on July 10, 2011 in Jackson. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Ann Ramey; his sisters, Kelly Benson, Tracy Pusser and Lisa Plunk; his brothers, Terry, Billy, Bobby, Tommy, Randall and Daniel Ramey all of Madison County; two step-daughters, Shari Boyd and Kristi Whitaker Shorter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Ramey.
Visitation will be held from 9am until service time at 11am on Thursday, July 14th, all held at the South Chapel. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery.
