Our deepest respect and appreciation for Leslie and Edna's serving as parents to our children when we were on a different island. We suffer their loss with your families.

"Uncle" Leslie was a godly gracious parent to me while living at the hostel in Jakarta. I especially recall his even tempered demeanor and encouragement to me and other brothers / sisters. In one specific circumstance, he prayed over me during a time of physical and mental depression and then welcomed me into his own home simply to be with him and his family. His love was deep and wide and I basked in his reflection of God's love for me. I praise our Father above for his presence and guidance in my life.
