Jerry Lynn Harrison

Funeral Services for Jerry Lynn Harrison, age 70, will be held Sunday May 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Ronnie Wilburn officiating.

Mr. Harrison was born in Hardin County to the late James T. Harrison and Bonnie Harrison Taylor. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church of Jackson.

Mr. Harrison began his education for the first five years in Gibson County and completed in the Madison County School System. He was employed by International Paper Company for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by a sister Greta Ann Harrison, Step Father Arnold Taylor and Step Brother Don Taylor.

Mr. Harrison is survived his wife of 49 years Linda F. Harrison, two sons Ronald Harrison and Celest of Jackson, Barry Harrison and Lisa of Jackson, one daughter Kathryn Bowman and Ken of Milan, one brother James A. Harrison and Bonnie of Massachusetts, six grand children Justin Harrison and Olivia, Jake Harrison and Trent, Luke Bowman and Madelyn.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Meridian Baptist Church.

Visitation with the Harrison Family with be Saturday May 22, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons and one hour prior to service on Sunday.
