Jessica was a longtime resident of Asheville where she worked at MAHEC Family Health. She loved volunteering to help the homeless at Haywood Congregation Church. Jessica shared a love of nature with her mama. She will be remembered as a bright and funny individual.
Left to mourn are her godmother, Margaret Jana; her great aunt, Marilyn Hinson; aunt, Susan McClanahan; and aunt and uncle, Julie and Steve McClanahan, and their sons, Gabriel and Luke. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Bo Blackford; father, Bobby Blackford; and her fiance, William Hill.
A memorial service will be held in the spring at Haywood Congregation Church due to the increase of covid in the area.
