Jo Forsha Crump

She was born May 15, 1942 in Clifton, TN and graduated from Parsons High School in 1959. She was an integral member of Bible Grove Baptist Church where she served as the church organist. She was a loving wife and mother, and a devoted grandmother.

Mrs. Crump was the widow of Walter C. Crump, and was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie "Pete" Forsha and her mother, Dorothy Forsha.

Mrs. Crump is survived by her brother, Roy Forsha of Parsons, TN and three children: Kim Collier of Atoka, TN, Pam Jackson and husband Carter of Southaven, MS, and Brian Crump and wife Lori of Nashville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Cody and Callie Collier, Ben Jackson, and Nicholas and Toby Crump.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at George A. Smith Funeral Home North Chapel. Funeral services for Jo Forsha Crump will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the funeral home, with Rev. Wayne Foropoulos and Rev. Tommy Stutts officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers to serve will be Cody Collier, Nicholas Crump, Randall Forsha, Pat Mosier, Dan Arnold, and Earl Mizell.

The family requests that any memorials be made to Bible Grove Baptist Church, Jackson, TN.
