Joe G. Mabry

Joe was born on December 8, 1940 in Giles County, TN to the late Richard and Lena Mabry. He was the youngest of four children.

He was married to Janette Parsons Mabry for 58 years. He spent his career on the open road driving a big rig as "The Commodore." He was an avid golfer and member of Woodland Hills Country Club. He also enjoyed spending time at American Legion Post 90 playing dominos with his friends. He attended the Church of Christ.

Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Lois Shelton, Edna Abbott, and Joy Wilkes.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Janette; three children, Mindy Jo Mabry, Bob Mabry, and Melissa Little; eight grandchildren, Gennifer Cotner, Zach Haywood, Kasie Tyler, Spencer Little, Shanie Little, Adriana Elias Garrido, Sean Michael Mabry and Stephanie Summers; five great grandchildren, Jack Cotner, Brody Cotner, Noah Tyler, Jake Tyler and Mabry Tyler who all called him Big Daddy.

The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.
