We will all miss him everyday. We take comfort in that he was a child of God and loved us dearly. As you are reading this, he is rejoicing with family and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jackson Coolidge and Dorothy Mae McLean Coolidge of Alabama; and his grandparents, Joe and Mae Coolidge, Jessie Lawrence, and Luevenia Coolidge.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Diane Coolidge; his daughter, Christi Coolidge Ruth (Daryl) of Foley, AL; sons, Cody Hollingshead (Talitha) of Madisonville, TN, Logan Hollingshead (Lindsay) of Hickory, NC, Major Hollingshead and Brian Peckinpaugh of Monroe, GA, David Wyatt (Jessica) of Pinson, and Joshua Lee Wyatt of Pinson; granddaughters, Ella Kate and Amelia Rose Hollingshead of Hickory, NC, Katlyn Ruth and Will Schoen of Foley, AL, Brooke Wyatt and Dakota Parish of Milan; grandsons, Wyatt and Denver Ruth of Foley, AL, Zander Lee of Monroe, GA, Keenan McMillon of Pinson, TN, Colby McMillon (Vada) of Dickson, TN, and Cameron Taylor (Milyn) of Pinson; great grandsons Karter McMillon, Lawson Taylor, and Walker Parish.
He is also survived by his sister, Luvenia Coolidge Hood (Dan) of Lincoln, AL; his brother, Tommy Coolidge (Cindy) of Albertville, AL; nephews, Scott Coolidge of Indianapolis, IN, Kris Coolidge (Amanda) and Cole Coolidge (Deborah) of Alabama.
He is also survived by special friends, Amy Jones, Melba Coolidge and Kerry Norris, and Caroline Lackey.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, a few of which he wished to name: Geneva Mordeca, Sue Southard (Bruce), Joy Sides (James), Mary Jo (Jasper), and Norman Burkett (Teresa) all of Alabama.
The Coolidge Family prays God's blessings and strength on everyone for their support and prayers. If John were here, he would say Be strong and ROLL TIDE!
