John Lucian Hunt

He was born in Nashville, TN on August 29, 1935 to William and Daisy Hunt. He attended Richland Elementary School and Bellevue High School. He retired from Owens Corning.

John was an active member of Clover Creek Baptist Church in Medon. He served the Lord in many capacities including serving as chairman of the deacons for 46 years.

He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Collins Hunt; two children, Mike Hunt (Tina) and Mary Ann Pyles (fiancé Adam); two grandchildren, Bethany Hunt and Mary-Paige Pyles.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Clover Creek Baptist Church in Medon with Bro. Richard Doyle and Bro. Terry Acred officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1 p.m., two hours prior to the service.

Active pallbearers to serve will be Burt Staggs, Danny Teuton, David Turner, Jim Wilson, Pete Helton, and James Chism.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Staggs, Ed Hearn, and David Blasingame.

At Mr. Hunts request, all memorials should be directed to Clover Creek Baptist Church or to your favorite charity.
