John Maddox Webb

John was the son of Harold L, Webb, (deceased), and Doris Cupples Webb of Jackson. He leaves his son, Jacob Webb (Destiny Johnson), and siblings, Elaine Webb Lobato (Joe), Connie Webb Ledbetter (Johnny), Cindy Webb McCann (Sarge), Mary Webb Bettie (David), and Lloyd Webb, along with many nieces, and nephews.

John attended Malesus Elementary and Southside High School. While serving in the US Navy, he earned his license as a crane operator. After leaving the Navy, he worked at several local businesses. In later years he was a self-employed handyman, doing painting, welding, electrical and farm work. He enjoyed working on projects and playing pool with his son, Jake.

John will be missed by his son, and many loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 11:00AM at the South Chapel of George A. Smith & Sons. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM.
