Johnny E. Hogue Sr. passed away on May 7, 2018 at home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with burial to follow in Bells Chapel Cemetery in Rutherford, TN.
Mr. Hogue was born on May 24, 1949 in Dyer, TN. To the late John Thomas, and Opal Newell Hogue. He worked as an Electrician/ HVAC technician and retired at the age of 50.
Mr. Hogue was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Mrs. Trennie Faye Hogue; one son, John Eugene Hogue Jr; one daughter, Becky Lynn Makowski; step father that raised him, Earl Gardner, also his only brother in law Bill Ramey, one son in law, Frank Butler, two nephews, one great nephew, and one great great nephew.
He is survived by his four daughters, Mary Jane Jones, Patricia (Pat) Inez Wooten, Teresa Diane Butler, Johnnie Faye Hogue, 6 grandson’s Robby Makowski, Bryan Adam Makowski, Rocky Allen Makowski, Johnny Brown Wallace, Tristan Michael Hogue, Cammeron Lee Hogue; 2 granddaughters, Robin Lynn Thomas, and Whitney Bryanna Wooten; 6 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie Makowski, Hailey Lynn Makowski, Emily Lynn Makowski, Austin Lee Wallace, Braydon Andrew Wallace, and Justin Wallace. Mr. Hogue is also survived by three nephews, 12 great nephews, and seven great great nephews, three nieces, four great nieces, and six great great nieces, and one sister, Barbara Ann Ramey.
Pallbearers Will be Jonathan Baker, Jimmy Plunk, Tristan Hogue, Bryan Makowski, Jason Bell, and Jacob Haywood.
A visitation with the family Will be on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
