Katherine was a classmate at Jackson High, but I remember her more from recent visits in the last 25 years when I have visited from the West Coast. She was a gracious hostess, intelligent, and had such a lovely smile. I appreciated her for visiting the funeral home when my mother passed away.

Mr, Wardlow, Jay and Jeff,

I am truly sorry to hear of Mrs. Wardlow's recent passing. Along with the countless memories you have of her, you should remember and consider that she leaves behind a great legacy that consists of two honorable sons and a long line of former students who she helped during their educational journey. May God bless you during this difficult time.

Katherine used her giftings to greatly impact her world. After teaching with Kathrine for many years at Northside Junior High, she and I volunteered with ARISE2Read. I was the program’s director, and she served as Aldersgate’s point person. She led, encouraged and loved those around her. Katherine fulfilled God’s command to love Him and to love others. She was God’s good and faithful servant, and she will be greatly missed.

I have fond memories of coming to her house when she lived in Bolivar and Jackson. She was my mother's best friend and close to our family. I can hear her sweet laughter and she will be missed by all who knew her.
