Loretta was born on July 3, 1936, the daughter of August and Helen Schubert in Tamaroa, IL. She graduated at age 16 from Tamaroa High School in 1953. She was married to Robert (Brother Bob) Ervin, for over 50 years, who preceded her in death. She was a stay at home mom when her children were small.
