Martha Loretta Jones returned to the Lord on July 8, 2016 at her home in Jackson, TN at the age of 94. She was born on January 18, 1922, and was raised in Double Bridges, TN. She attended Martin College, and married her childhood sweetheart, the late W. Ralph (Tiger) Jones. After moving to Jackson in 1948, she became a member of Poplar Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones leaves behind daughter Frieda Jones Navel, grandson Jeffrey William Navel, granddaughter-in-law Meagan Dennison Navel and great-granddaughter, Vera Elizabeth Navel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel beginning at 10:00am to be immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
