Martha West

Martha was born on December 25, 1942, to the late James E. Walls and Eva Stafford Walls. She spent her younger years in Hickory Valley, Tennessee, and later lived in Jackson, Tennessee, for several years before making her home in Selmer.

Martha’s greatest legacy is the family she leaves behind to cherish her memory. She is survived by her three children, daughters Ginia Kelley Mullen (Greg) and Brandy Kelley, and son Timothy Kelley (Tara). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Coty Kelley, Joey Mullen, Roxanna Kelley, Jonathan Kelley, and Damian Kelley; her great-grandchildren, Hayden Kelley, Harper Kelley, Ally Sipes, Harlie Mullen, and Tucker Mullen; and her sister, Judy Walls Harris.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her children’s father, Manual “Rooster” Kelley; her husband, George West; her twin sister, Mary Watson; her twin brother and sister, Jimmy Walls and Betty Skelton; her brother, Charles Walls; and her sister, Joyce Powell.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Legacy Hospice of Selmer, Tennessee, for the wonderful care, kindness, and support provided to Martha and her loved ones during this time.

Martha will be remembered with love by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
