Mary was born on December 18, 1932 in Mount Vernon, Indiana to the late Henry and Veri Hayes Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of North Jackson Church of Christ. She was also an active member of the Homemaker's Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Allen Duncan and grandson, Joshua Duncan.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Duncan of Jackson; four children, Robert, Melinda, LouElla, and Dale; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 12-2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with David Powell of North Jackson Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
