Mary Shinault

Kathy was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. She was a woman whose greatest joy in life came from the love she shared with her family. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love created a beautiful legacy that will continue through the generations.

Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Billy Shinault, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, memories, and family. She is also survived by her daughters, Lisa and Amber (Ben); her grandchildren, Alisin (Jonathan), Carly (Aaden), Eli (Ashley), Cason, Mason, and Addilynn; and her three precious great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable love and joy.

She is also survived by her brother, Harvey Fortune, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. Fortune and Ruby L. Fortune, and her brothers, Wayne Fortune and Ernest Fortune.

More than anything, Kathy’s greatest legacy was her family. She had a way of bringing warmth and comfort to those around her, and the love she gave so freely will remain a part of her family’s lives for years to come. The memories she created with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved ones will be treasured forever.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
