Mrs. Modena Robison Shanklin, age 89, of Jackson, TN, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Shanklin will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home North Chapel with burial to follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery near Dyer, TN.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday morning from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM.
Mrs. Shanklin is survived by three daughters, Janet Lorenz, Betty McNally, and Deborah Middlecamp and a son, James W. Shanklin, Jr. all of Muskegon, MI; 8 granchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. “Jamie” Shanklin, her parents, James Hall and Clara May Barnhart Robison, and two sisters, Clara Bee Little and Ruth May Shuck
