Patsy Ruth McEarl Collins

Patsy Ruth McEarl Collins, age 78 of Medon, passed away on January 19, 2022 at her home in Medon. She was born on August 11, 1943 in the Sweet Lips Community of Chester County, TN. She was one of nine children born to the late John Wesley and Monty Mae Naylor McEarl. She was a hairdresser for almost forty years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Collins; and her sister, Johnnie Mae Russell and her husband Jim. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Collins Sisk (Jeff) and their children, Hallie and Mitchell; her siblings, Grace Moody, Charles McEarl (Virginia), Dorothy McEarl Anderson (Bob), Roger McEarl (Patricia), Norma McEarl McPeake (Ricky), Mitzi McEarl Crouse (Nicky), Bobby McEarl (Sarah); sister in law, Betty Elder; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Patsy will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Malesus. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be directed to Gideon’s International, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
