Patsy Ruth Massey Patsy Ruth Massey, age 75 of Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 8, 2016.She was born on July 20, 1940 in Henderson County, TN to the late Hubert and Opal Kirk. She worked from 1972-96 at Jackson Energy Authority, retiring after 24 years of service in 1996. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bemis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Massey. She is survived by her three children, Sharon Kee Wadley (Tim), Keith Kee, and Richard Kee (Kim); her grandchildren, Jon Kee, Kelsey Kee, Zach Wadley, Kendyl Wadley, Monica Young, Kirsten Trentham, and Will Trentham; a great granddaughter, Kallie Grace Kee; and two sisters, Martha Blankenship and Judy Robinson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Henderson County, TN. Interment will follow in Spain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the church. Active pallbearers to serve will be Brian Neal, Dan Yates, Phillip Anglin, CJ Neal, and Jon Kee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Blankenship, Charles Blankenship, Jerry Essary, Billy Kelly, Bo Deaton, Aaron Long, and Randy Blankenship.
