Patsy Elizabeth Collins Moore

Patsy was born on January 27, 1935 in Bemis, Madison Co. TN to the late William Henry and Velma Owen Collins. She loved the Lord and was a long time member of West Jackson Baptist Church. She was also a secretary for years at Northside High School in Jackson. Patsy was a loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gilbert Moore; her sisters, Joy Collins Brown and Vinita Collins; and brothers, Guy Collins and Paul Collins.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. Michael Moore (Melissa) of Jackson, Jeffery Moore (Sara) Rapid City, SD, and Keith Moore (Michelle) of Henderson; eight grandchildren, Abby Peterson (Scott) of Rapid City, SD, Dr. Brandon Moore (Becca) of Columbia, MO, Laura Moore Fails (Devon) of Knoxville, Joey Moore (Joy) of Jackson, Katie Moore of Jackson, Austin Moore of Henderson, Amelia Moore of Jackson, and Sophie Moore of Jackson; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Halle, and Zachary of Rapid City, SD, Hudson, Wyatt, and Beckham of Columbia MO, and Jayde of Jackson; and her niece Linda Brown DeBerry(Wally) of Olive Branch, MS.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with funeral services following at 12 p.m. with Rev. Ron Hale officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at New Union Cemetery in Hardeman County, TN.
