Phillip Shane Little, age 64, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Bailey Park Nursing Home in Humboldt, TN.

Shane was born on February 9, 1954 in Jackson, TN to the late Bruce Junior Little and Betty June Ryals Little Clymore. He was retired from the Jackson Police Department after 27 years of service. Shane was a 1972 graduate of South Side High School. During his time at JPD, he was a radar instructor, hostage negotiator, and served as a School Resource Officer at South Side High School.

Shane was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Junior Little and Betty June Ryals Little Clymore.

He is survived by his children, Kasie Little Tyler (Matt) of Jackson, Spencer Little of Jackson, and Shanie Little of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, Noah Tyler, Jake Tyler, and Mabry Tyler; and one sister, Jan Mank (Charles) of Medina.

A Celebration of Shane's Life will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. At 6 p.m., the chaplain of Jackson Police Department will conduct a memorial service that will include the rendering of Police Honors. There will be time to visit with family and friends before and after the service.

I have been honored to be the cna , who took care of this wonderful man . He gave me much joy in my life , his death touched me beyond word's. Am broken hearted , he was very loved by the staff ay bailey park. Hands down one of the besy men, ive ever met.
