

Funeral services for Randie Glen Snider, 73, were held on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 pm at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Bro. Mark Cagle and Tracy Snider officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Springs Cemetery near Deanburg.
Born February 16th, 1943 in Chester County; Randie passed away at his home on September 30,2016.
He is a Christian who served as a faithful member at Malesus Baptist Church.
He leaves for a time his wife, Nancy Weaver Snider; they celebrated 40 years marriage last April 9th.
He graduated Chester County High School in 1961. He started working for Southern Bell in 1965 which later became South Central Bell. After the AT&T divestiture, he went to work for Lucent Technology until retiring in 1991 with 26 years service. He then started Snider Communications in which he continued to work even through his battle with cancer. He also retired from the Tennessee Army National Guard as a Master Sergeant with 26 years service.
Randie loved serving, he loved his customers, his neighbors, and his friends. He loved working in the yard and traveling with Nancy. He loved going to his grandchildren’s special events.
He leaves three sons: Tracy Snider and wife Lynda, Jason Snider and wife Keata, and Chris White and wife, Krisha, all of Jackson, Tn. He was preceded in death by a dearly loved son, Clay, in 2008.
He had 9 grandchildren: Stone, Dylan, Jake, Seth, Zane, Jonah, Jacob, Will and finally a granddaughter, Amelia Kate. Pallbearers to serve will be Stone, Dylan, Jake and Seth along with nephews Jeremy Snider and Gregory Helms.
He is survived by a sister, Peggy Helms (Curt) of Eads, Tn and brothers, Jerry Snider (Ruth Anne) , Bobby Snider (Ronda) of Gig Harbor, Wa. and Chris Snider of Lebanon, Mo.
He also is preceded in death by his parents, Glen Tucker Snider and Velma Neisler Snider.
