

RC Williford, Age 67, Was born November 29, 1943 in Gibson County, TN. Retired Plant Manager of Volunteer Leather. He worked in the leather industry for 40 years before retiring at the age of 58. He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 1999 and Chronic Myelo-Monocitic Leukemia in 2011. After a long, couragous battle with cancer; he passed away suddenly Saturday, Febrauary 19,2011 due to a fall. He was an inspiration to many. He believed in living life to the fullest and did so until the very end. He had a passion for the outdoors, golf, mechanical and autobody work. He loved to fix things. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Medina. RC was recently selected as the 2011 Honorary Chair for the Milan/Medina Relay for Life. He is preceeded in death by his mother- Jannie Crowe, father- RB Williford, and one brother-Lloyd Crowe. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Camilla Williford, his 3 children Shane Williford, Amy Wallis, and Brannon Williford, all of Medina. 6 Grandchildren, Heather Mallard (Jake) of Milan, Jodi Lamb (Brian) of Medina, Jesse Turner (Jessica) of Milan, Randy Turner of Medina, Austin Williford of Medina, and Alyssa Williford of Medina. 5 Great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Rebecca “Becky” Locke of Milan, Brenda “Sue” Moore of McKenzie and 2 brothers, Ed Crowe of Flint, Mi., and Ray Crowe of Ackerman,Ms. Visitation was held Monday, February 21st at First United Methodist Church in Medina. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 22nd at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Cemetary in Medina. All family and friends are invited to attend.
