As I'm retired in Arizona now, I will be unable to attend the memorial service . Dr. Barker was my Dr. from 1981 until he moved to Jackson, and I also worked with him at Humboldt General. He was an amazingly brilliant doctor. He saved my life more than once and I'm living today because he gave me the tools I needed and I've implemented them. Thank you Dr. Barker. RIP

I am so sorry that I am not able to attend the memorial service for Dr. Barker. He was a great physician. Always studying & learning to better serve his patients. Enjoyed my many years of working with him at Cedar Crest/Humboldt General. Praying for comfort for his family.

Dr. Barker was my doctor for many years. His dad, Dr. Harold, delivered my first child in 1962.
Dr. Robert C Barker was a doctor who never rushed. He always took the time to answer any questions that you had.
I had the pleasure of teaching his son , Kyle, and we often talked
about him. Other times , we talked about the time that my sister, Ora, worked for him in a babysitting position and when my late mother, Annie McDonald Fly, worked for his mother and dad. He would just chuckle! Rest on, Dr. Barker! You were truly a warrior until the end.
Heartfelt condolences to the family.

There are so many memories with Dr. Barker...My daddy, Mackie Lee Pillow needed his sinuses cleaned out. That was the weirdest thing I ever saw Dr. Barker do. I can still remember what I saw, yuk!!
One other memory was helping at his office while Alison was out having her baby & staying on after she came back to work. To watch this man, in action was a God's Wink! Lots of times he'd know what was wrong before the patient said a word.
AMAZING, Dr. Robert C. Barker
You will be missed by so many family members & friends.
May you Rest In Peace my friend
Til we meet again....
