Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, July 14 2012 at 2 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with burial in the Grange Cemetery in Honey Creek, IA.
He was born in Watson, MO to the late Albert and Marie Gillespie on December 9, 1941. He was a Veteran, and retired from Proctor & Gamble as a Project Manager.
He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Pat Owens of Brownsville; 2 sons, Jerry Gillespie (Leigh Anne) of Jackson and Ronnie Gillespie of New Market, IA; 1 sister, Lois Smith of St. Joseph, MO; and 1 granddaughter, Josie Ann Gillespie.
A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, July 14 2012 in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, from 12 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m.
