She was born on November 5, 1938 in Huntingdon, TN to the late Eustace Ray Pettigrew and Rauline Pickler Pettigrew. She attended public schools in Jackson, TN and graduated from Jackson High School in 1956.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Harris, Sr. and brother Jimmy Glenn Pettigrew.
She is survived by her brothers Randy Pettigrew (Mary Lu), and Steve Pettigrew. She is also survived by her two sons John Harris Jr. (Mary) and David Harris (Karen), five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
