Scarlett Earlene Frye Ervin, age 81 of Cordova, TN passed away July 11 after a brief illness. Mrs. Ervin was born March 2, 1942 in The Old 23rd District of Henry County, Tennessee. Her parents were Alvin Frye and Allene Medlock Frye. She graduated from Central High School in Bolivar in 1960. She married Houston Ervin June 5, 1961 in Hardeman County, TN. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, Cordova, TN. She was retired from St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN and for many years worked part-time at WalMart, Collierville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband June 8, 2023, and by her parents.

She is survived by three sons, Charles (Chuck) and his wife Teresia of Medon, TN; Lee of Cordova, TN; and Hugh Earl of Memphis TN.; four grandchildren, Charles and wife Amanda, Erick, Kalissa, and Phoenix; one great grandchild Hudson. She is also survived by one brother, Gary Fry and wife Debbie of Alamo, TN; one niece Holly and husband Kyle Orman of Hickman County TN, and one aunt Joyce and husband Brad Henderson of Jackson, TN.

The memorial service for Scarlett will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at South Chapel, 1544 South Highland Ave., Jackson, Tennessee 38301.
