She was courageous in her fight with Dementia and we're thankful for all the caregivers over the past several years who've taken such good care of her.
She leaves two brothers, Michael Mayes and Kris Mayes; one sister Sheila McPherson; three nephews and two nieces that she loved as if they were her own children, Bret McPherson, Ryan McPherson, Tiger Lily Mayes, Jett Mayes and Layla Mayes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Elizabeth Mays.
The Family will have a Celebration of Life at her sister's house for family and friends on June 1st. A private service will be held at a later time.
