Funeral services for Stephen Joe Harris age 54 of Jackson, will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel, with Dr. Mark McSwain and Bro. Glenn Harris officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Springs Methodist Church Cemetery.
Steve was born on November 10, 1956 in Jackson, TN and passed away at his residence on February 13, 2011. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bemis. He was a certified welder who owned and operated Harris Welding Service prior to becoming disabled.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Cody Harris; his parents, Joe and Ella Harris all of Jackson, TN; a sister, Gina Harris Taylor (Rusty) and a niece and nephew, Casey and Colten Taylor all of Medon, TN.
Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the South Chapel.
Pallbearers will be; Greg Massey, Dennis Hornsby, Donnie Hornsby, Larry Joe Cain, Tim Harris and Trent Harris.
