

Sue was born in Greenfield, TN on April 26, 1920. She loved her family and her church. She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. In 1981, Sue was voted Woman of the Year. She was a Deacon, an Elder, and President of Women of the Church at First Presbyterian Church, and a state executive board member of Church Women United. Sue always had a place in her heart for those less fortunate and was very active as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Laubach Literacy Program "Each One Teach One," Area Relief Ministries, Regional Interfaith Association, and Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed music, painting, knitting, and gardening.
Mrs. Sue is survived by four children, Johnny and wife Josephine of Nashville, TN, Bart and wife Celia of Albany, GA, Susan Blackmon and husband Tom of Jackson, TN, Tommy and wife Mary Ann of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Kevin Williams (Sarah), Becky Sue Augustyniak (Mark) and Bess McClain (Brendon) Weslley Williams (Jordan), Wade Williams, Fitz Williams, Bridget Williams, Katy Vallantine; her great-grandchildren, John Barton Augustnyiak, John Harding Williams and Mary Elizabeth Williams; and her sister, Jane Shelley of Clarksville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella and Huron Barton; her first husband from 1944-1986, Toby Williams and her second husband, Breck Wyatt from 1988-1994; a sister, Mary Bruer and a brother, Jack Barton.
A Memorial service will be conducted at First Presbyterian Church on North Highland in Jackson on December 17, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will follow in Memorial Hall.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice .
