Terry Lloyd Acred

He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Betty Acred, and grandson Tyler Oliver.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Dougan Acred, children Angela Pace (husband Adam), Kristen King (husband Brandon), Melanie Oliver (husband Scott), and Laura Bartos (husband Titus), along with 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters Judy Ollis, Connie Conklin, and Debbie Smith (husband Tim), brother Billy (wife Sandy), along with a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Terry was a graduate of South Side High School. He was a member of Oakfield Baptist Church, and had been a faithful member of several Baptist churches in Madison County. Prior to retirement, he was the owner of Hub Express trucking company in Jackson. Terry enjoyed working on his farm, taking care of his garden and animals, and spending time with his family. He leaves behind a rich legacy of love, wisdom, and leadership and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

The family will gather for a private graveside service at Ararat Cemetery. A visitation and celebration of his life for friends and community members will take place in the near future.
