He was born on January 31, 1933 in Jackson, TN to the late and Esther Lee Qualls Sanders. He was an electrician by trade. He also worked for Budweiser and was known as the Bud Man.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sanders of Jackson; five children, Mary Jane Escue (Tommy) of Jackson, Susan Hewitt (Joe) of Biloxi, MS, Belinda Sanders of Oak Ridge, TN, Jerry Sanders of Jackson, and Larry Wayne Sanders of Biloxi, MS; nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one great grandson, Trey Lindsey.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 12-2 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
