Mrs. Virginia Sculley, 94 of Jackson passed away on May 26, 2016. Mrs. Sculley was born in Jackson on May 10, 1922 to the late James, and Alma Allen Lawrence. She graduated from Lambuth College in 1944, and co-owned and operated Sculley’s Golf Course alongside her late husband Tom Sculley who passed away in 1999.She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, and her husband Tom, Mrs. Sculley was also preceded in death by her brother James S. Lawrence Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Alma Gale Sculley of Corinth,MS, brother; Swanee Lawrence (Ella) of Jackson, sister in law, Dot Lawrence of Lone Oak, VA and nieces and nephew, Sally Lawrence,Brownie Lawrence, Jamie Lewis,
and Swanee Lawrence Jr,. A Graveside service will be held on Sunday May 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Ridgecrest Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. Cecil Kirk officiating.
