I remember when I first met Ronnie. I was 7 or 8 years old and was at Mama and Papa Mays' house in Jackson. He was an Air Force Tech Sergeant who'd just returned from Southeast Asia during Vietnam Nam and was with Aunt Carolyn. I just thought he was so cool and he spent time with me. He took great pride of his service with the Air Force!!

Ronnie was so loving and kind to everyone. He loved his family and considered them all a gift from God.

He is now with our Lord where there is no pain or suffering ... Only LOVE.

Though we mourn his passing , we also celebrate the life of a great man who loved his family and his country. Greatness, in my mind, is measured not by notoriety, but in the simple things that mean so much to so many.
